# What Will I Learn in the INCCP?

## Gain the clinical, coaching, and leadership skills to become a board-certified Nurse Coach — and to bring this work into practice or healthcare systems.

### Skills that transform health and healing

The [Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP)](https://inursecoach.com/course/integrative-nurse-coach/) equips nurses with the theory, practical skills, and professional tools to transform health and healing — individually and systemically. You will learn to:

Graduates meet the contact-hour and coaching-hour requirements to sit for the NC-BC, HN-BC, and HWNC-BC exams through AHNCC.

- Apply the **Theory of Integrative Nurse Coaching (TINC)** for whole-person, relationship-centered care
- Use the **Integrative Lifestyle Health and Wellbeing Model** across physical, emotional, spiritual, and environmental domains
- Facilitate **Awareness and Choice** practices for sustainable behavior change
- Apply established behavior change theories and models — including the **Transtheoretical Model (Stages of Change)**, **Motivational Interviewing**, and **Appreciative Inquiry**
- Use the validated **Integrative Health and Wellness Assessment™** in practice and research
- Demonstrate core coaching competencies — presence, deep listening, motivational interviewing, and outcome-based goal setting

### The four levels at a glance

- **Level 1 — Foundations (14 weeks, 90 contact hours):** self-transformation and core coaching skills
- **Level 2 — Practicum (16 weeks, 156 contact hours):** supervised coaching with pro bono clients
- **Level 3 — Board Certification Review (self-paced):** the Nurse Coach Board Certification Review (24 contact hours) plus a Holistic Nursing Certification Review (contact hours coming soon), included in every pathway
- **Level 4 — Professional Development Branches:** the Nurse Coach Private Practice Business Branch (contact hours coming soon) and/or Integrating Nurse Coaching in Organizations (40 contact hours)

**Bonus:** Integrative Nurse Coaching Interventions ($1,200 value; contact hours coming soon) expands your toolkit with complementary modalities.

### Program highlights

- **Format:** 100% online, cohort-based with live interaction
- **Duration:** about 7 months plus lifetime access to self-paced modules
- **Total contact hours:** 270+ across the core levels, plus additional hours from the Holistic Nursing Review, your Level 4 branch(es), and the bonus course
