What happens after you enroll
What to expect immediately after registering: emails, access, next steps, and support.
Overview
After you enroll in an Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy (INCA) program, several steps happen automatically behind the scenes. This article outlines what to expect, when to expect it, and when you may need to take action. Step 1: Enrollment Confirmation After completing your registration, you should receive an enrollment confirmation email. This confirms that your registration was successful. If you do not see a confirmation email within a reasonable timeframe, we recommend checking your spam, junk, or promotions folders. Step 2: Program-Specific Next Steps What happens next depends on the type of program you enrolled in. Self-Paced Specialty Programs You will typically receive access to your course within one business day of enrolling. Access details are sent by email. You will have one year to complete the core program requirements in order to receive your certificate. If you believe more than one business day has passed and you have not received access, please submit a support ticket. Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP) INCCP is a cohort-based program with a scheduled start date. Access and onboarding occur in stages. Approximately 4 weeks before the program begins: You will receive a welcome letter with important onboarding instructions, including how to select your Mentorship Group time and coordinate Peer Coaching. Approximately 1–2 weeks before the program begins: You will receive your iNurseCoach email address, which is used for course login and all official program communications. 24 hours before the program begins: You will receive access to the course in Canvas. It is important to follow the instructions in these emails carefully and on time, as they impact group placement, access, and participation. What You Don’t Need to Worry About Not seeing immediate Canvas access for cohort-based programs Receiving multiple emails at different times before the program begins Next steps arriving closer to your official start date This staggered approach is intentional and helps ensure a smooth onboarding experience. When to Reach Out for Help Please submit a support ticket if: You enrolled in a self-paced program and did not receive access within one business day You are within two weeks of your INCCP start date and have not received onboarding communications You believe there may be an issue with your enrollment or access When submitting a ticket, please include: The program you enrolled in The email address you used at checkout Your enrollment date You can create a support ticket here: https://support.inursecoach.com/portal/en/newticket You may also find these related articles helpful: How to Enroll in an INCA Program Start Dates, Cohorts, and Access Timing
