What Happens After You Enroll
What to expect immediately after registering: emails, access, next steps, and support.
Overview
After you enroll in an INCA program, several steps happen automatically behind the scenes. This article outlines what to expect, when to expect it, and when you may need to take action.
Step 1: Enrollment Confirmation
After completing your registration, you should receive an enrollment confirmation email confirming that your registration was successful.
Note: If you don't see a confirmation email within a reasonable timeframe, check your spam, junk, or promotions folders.
Step 2: Program-Specific Next Steps
Self-Paced Specialty Programs: you'll typically receive access within one business day of enrolling, with details sent by email. You'll have one year to complete the core requirements to receive your certificate. If more than one business day has passed and you have not received access, please submit a student support ticket.
Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP): this is a cohort-based program with a scheduled start date, so access and onboarding occur in stages:
- ~4 weeks before the program begins: a welcome letter with onboarding instructions, including how to select your Mentorship Group time and coordinate Peer Coaching.
- ~1–2 weeks before the program begins: your iNurseCoach email address, used for course login and official communications.
- 24 hours before the program begins: access to the course in Canvas.
It's important to follow the instructions in these emails carefully and on time, as they impact group placement, access, and participation.
What You Don't Need to Worry About
- Not seeing immediate Canvas access for cohort-based programs
- Receiving multiple emails at different times before the program begins
- Next steps arriving closer to your official start date
This staggered approach is intentional and helps ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
When to Reach Out for Help
Please submit a student support ticket if you enrolled in a self-paced program and didn't receive access within one business day, you're within two weeks of your INCCP start date and haven't received onboarding communications, or you believe there's an issue with your enrollment or access. Include the program you enrolled in, the email address you used at checkout, and your enrollment date.
