Live Web Meeting Requirements: Mentorship Groups & Peer Coaching

Live mentorship groups and peer coaching are required, relational parts of the INCCP. Here's what to expect, why they matter, and how they work together.

Why live participation matters

Live, relational learning is a core component of the Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP). Mentorship groups and peer coaching are intentionally designed to build skill, confidence, and professional integration. Live web meetings give you space to:

  • Apply coaching-informed skills in real time
  • Learn through dialogue and shared experience
  • Receive guidance from experienced Nurse Coach mentors
  • Develop confidence in presence, listening, and communication

Live participation in mentorship groups and peer coaching is required. The INCCP is not a fully self-paced or observational program — learning happens through relationship, reflection, and practice.

Nervous about live sessions? That's common and completely okay. These spaces are designed to be supportive, not evaluative — you're expected to be present and curious, not perfect.

Mentorship groups

Small, Faculty Mentor-led groups meet live throughout the program. Expect reflective discussion on course content, real-world application of coaching skills, feedback from experienced Nurse Coaches, and learning alongside peers in a supportive environment — providing structure, continuity, and connection.

Peer coaching

A structured, supervised experience where you practice coaching skills with fellow nurses. Sessions are guided by clear instructions and ethical boundaries, designed to be safe and supportive, and focused on skill development rather than performance. You may serve as both coach and client depending on level and pairing.

How they work together

Mentorship groups provide guidance, context, and integration; peer coaching provides hands-on practice. Together they support ethical, confident, competent practice.

Attendance expectations

Live participation is required. You're expected to attend scheduled sessions, arrive prepared and present, engage respectfully, and follow program timelines — supporting both your learning and the integrity of the group. Questions about live requirements or scheduling? Book a call with an Admissions Specialist who has completed these experiences.
