No. There are no nationally recognized nursing specialty certifications in Lifestyle Medicine. ACLM offers an interdisciplinary certification pathway with its own eligibility rules.
No. There are no nationally recognized nursing specialty certifications in Lifestyle Medicine or Lifestyle Nursing. Lifestyle Medicine is not regulated as a nursing specialty by ANCC, AHNCC, or any other national nursing credentialing organization. Some programs offer a “certificate” or “certification,” but these are educational certificates, not official nursing specialty credentials.
ACLM does offer a Lifestyle Medicine certification pathway, but it's intended for an interdisciplinary group of licensed health professionals, and ACLM sets all eligibility requirements. Our program provides a strong, nursing-aligned foundation but does not confer a regulated nursing specialty certification.
Always verify who is issuing any Lifestyle Medicine "certification" and whether it is a legitimate, nationally recognized credential.
