Overview
INCA welcomes nurses from around the world who are interested in integrative, holistic, and coaching-informed approaches to practice. This article outlines eligibility for international students and important considerations before enrolling. International Enrollment at INCA International nurses are welcome to enroll in many INCA programs, provided they meet the program’s eligibility requirements. Eligibility is based on: Your nursing license or credential in your country of practice The specific INCA program you wish to enroll in Your ability to participate in the program format and requirements Program Eligibility by Location Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP) The Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP) requires active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN/NP). International nurses who hold the equivalent of RN or APN licensure in their country are eligible to enroll. Self-Paced Specialty Programs INCA’s self-paced specialty programs are open to licensed nurses internationally, including RNs, APNs, and LPNs/LVNs or equivalent nursing credentials, depending on local regulations. Scope of Practice and Local Regulations All INCA programs are educational and are taught within the scope of professional nursing. International students are responsible for understanding and complying with: The scope of practice defined by their country or region Licensing or regulatory body requirements Employer policies, where applicable Completion of an INCA program does not grant licensure, certification, or authorization to practice in any country or jurisdiction. Time Zones and Live Participation Some INCA programs, including INCCP, include live sessions scheduled in U.S. time zones. International students should consider time zone differences before enrolling. Live attendance expectations and alternatives are outlined in each program’s experience overview. We recommend reviewing the Program Experience articles for details on live components. Certificates, Contact Hours, and Recognition Certificates of completion and contact hours are issued upon successful completion of program requirements and full payment.
