How Is the INCCP Structured? Understanding the Learning Levels
The INCCP is a progressive, sequenced program: Levels 1 and 2 must be completed in order, while Levels 3 and 4 offer flexible timing once prerequisites are met.
A progressive, layered design
The Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP) is intentionally designed as a progressive learning journey. Each level builds on the previous one so that skills, confidence, and professional identity develop over time. Modules and assignments are due weekly.
Levels must be completed in sequence: Level 1 before Level 2, and Level 2 before Level 3. This sequencing supports professional readiness and ethical practice — it isn't optional.
After Levels 1 and 2, you gain flexibility — Levels 3 and 4 (and bonus courses) can be completed at a pace that fits your goals and schedule.
The required learning sequence
- Level 1 (Foundations) must be completed before Level 2
- Level 2 (Practicum) must be completed before Level 3
This sequencing ensures foundational skills are established before deeper application — supporting professional readiness and ethical practice.
Levels with flexible timing
After Levels 1 and 2, you have more flexibility. Levels 3 and 4, along with any bonus courses, may be completed at a pace that works for your goals and schedule once prerequisites are met — so you can integrate learning alongside work and life.
Why the structure matters
The design builds coaching skills gradually and safely, supports confidence through guided practice, ensures consistency across cohorts, and prepares graduates for real-world application and board-certification readiness. This is a cohort-based program with live components — not a rushed, out-of-sequence, self-paced shortcut. Questions about sequencing? Book a call with an Admissions Specialist — all are INCCP alumni.
