How Long Do I Have to Complete the INCCP? What Are the Deadlines and Extension Options?
Levels 1 and 2 follow your cohort's schedule with a 30-day completion grace period; Levels 3 and 4 are self-paced. One-time deferral and re-enrollment options apply.
Cohort-based levels, with flexibility built in
In the Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP), Level 1 (Foundations) and Level 2 (Practicum) follow your cohort's schedule. Level 3 (Board Certification Review) and Level 4 (Branches), plus bonus courses, are self-paced — you receive access at the end of Level 2 and keep lifetime access to complete them.
To earn your certificate and contact hours, you must complete all course requirements and pay your tuition in full (including any payment-plan installments).
Completion grace period
If you don't finish the cohort requirements by the scheduled end date, you have up to 30 days after the end date to complete. Beyond that, you can re-enroll in a future cohort using a one-time 25% re-enrollment discount.
Need to pause? Deferrals (INCCP only)
- One complimentary, one-time deferral if you request it in writing through the Deferral Form by 11:59 PM ET on the Sunday of Week 1
- A $400 deferral fee applies if you request after Week 1, up to the program's halfway point
- You may defer only once, to the next offering that begins within one year of your original start date
- Payment plans continue on their original schedule during a deferral
Deferral requests must be submitted through the Deferral Form in the Canvas Support menu — emails to instructors, mentors, or staff don't count. Review the full policy before enrolling.
Re-enrollment
Past the 50% mark, or need a second deferral? Those can't be deferred, but you can re-enroll in a future cohort with a one-time 25% discount (valid one year from your original start date and not combinable with other offers).
