Employer Reimbursement

How to request employer reimbursement and the documentation we can provide.

Overview

Many nurses use employer reimbursement or professional development funds to pay for INCA programs. This article explains what documentation is available, what employers typically request, and how Admissions can support your request.

Employer Reimbursement at INCA

Approximately 25% of INCA students have some or all of their tuition reimbursed by their employer. Policies vary widely by organization. While INCA cannot guarantee reimbursement, we provide documentation and guidance to support your request.

Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP)

For the Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP), INCA provides a sample employer reimbursement request letter to support conversations with employers. It helps outline:

  • The educational purpose and scope of INCCP
  • How the program supports professional nursing practice and leadership
  • The relevance of nurse coaching skills across healthcare settings

You can access the sample reimbursement letter here.

Documentation Commonly Requested by Employers

  • Program description or course overview
  • Tuition receipt or proof of payment
  • Certificate of completion or contact hour documentation

INCA provides receipts and certificates once program and payment requirements are met. We can also provide an invoice for your employer to pay upon request.

Certificates and Payment Status

Note: Certificates of completion are issued only after tuition is paid in full. On a payment plan, certificates are withheld until all scheduled payments are completed.

How Admissions Can Help

INCA Admissions Specialists are board-certified nurse coaches and INCCP alumni who can help you determine which program best aligns with your goals, discuss how programs are commonly positioned for reimbursement, and identify appropriate documentation to share with your employer.

To get help, contact Admissions at admissions@inursecoach.com or through our contact page, or book a call with an Admissions Specialist.
