What's the difference between the Functional Nursing and Lifestyle Nursing programs?
Functional Nursing focuses on root-cause, systems thinking (the “why”). Lifestyle Nursing focuses on evidence-based behavior change (the “how”). They're complementary.
They're complementary but distinct parts of whole-systems, integrative nursing:
- Functional Nursing = root causes, systems thinking, patterns, story, the Functional Medicine Matrix, terrain — the why behind health patterns.
- Lifestyle Nursing = evidence-based lifestyle interventions and behavior-change strategies based on the Six Pillars — the how of helping patients adopt healthier habits.
