How Much Business Education Is Included in the INCCP?
The INCCP builds coaching mastery first, then covers business fundamentals in Level 4 through the self-paced Nurse Coach Private Practice Business Branch.
Coaching skill first, business next
Many of our graduates go on to build thriving independent practices, and there's a real and growing need for entrepreneurial Nurse Coaches. A point of clarity, though: the Integrative Nurse Coach® Certificate Program (INCCP) is not designed as a stand-alone business course. Its primary purpose is to help you become a highly skilled, ethical, and effective Nurse Coach — because in any successful practice, coaching competence and confidence come first.
The INCCP is not a stand-alone business course — its primary purpose is to make you a skilled, ethical, effective Nurse Coach. The self-paced Nurse Coach Private Practice Business Branch is built into Level 4, and an optional live business coaching add-on is coming soon for those who want deeper, hands-on support.
Business education: the Nurse Coach Private Practice Business Branch (Level 4)
Because so many Nurse Coaches intend to build independent practices, what you need to know about starting your own business is intentionally integrated into the Level 4 Professional Development Branches. The Nurse Coach Private Practice Business Branch introduces practice logistics, ethical and scope-appropriate offerings, basic business structures, branding, pricing, and early steps for launching or growing a practice — so you can “hit the ground running” while staying aligned with nursing values.
