This article explains how INCA programs are accredited and what that means for learners. ### INCA Accreditation Overview Integrative Nurse Coach® Academy (INCA) is an accredited provider of continuing nursing education through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). This reflects INCA's commitment to high-quality, evidence-informed continuing education for nurses. ### What Accreditation Applies To - Approved INCA educational activities - Eligible participants who are licensed nurses - Programs that meet ANCC accreditation criteria Accreditation means eligible learners may earn ANCC contact hours upon successful completion of program requirements. ### Who Can Receive Contact Hours - Registered Nurses (RNs) - Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs/NPs) - Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPNs/LVNs), when applicable Non-nurses who may be permitted to enroll in select educational activities are not eligible to receive ANCC contact hours. ### Accreditation vs. Certification - Accreditation refers to the approval of INCA as a provider of continuing nursing education. - Certification refers to a professional credential awarded by a certifying body. INCA programs award educational certificates and, when applicable, contact hours. Completion does not itself confer professional certification.
